John Hanks has over 25 years of experience as a professional journalist, media crisis management expert, government media relations, radio/TV reporter and anchor, Congressional Press Secretary and Chief of Staff in Washington, D.C., Public Affairs Specialist at the Federal Aviation Administration and finally an exceptional media relations consultant.

John combined all his skills in the 90's as Assistant Director of Aviation for Communications for Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport and the Clark County Airport System. There he directed all media relations, community relations, community education, and print/audio/video production, handled issues such as noise abatement, environmental issues, airport expansion, funding, etc., and served as primary media contact in the absence of the Director of Aviation.

During his career, he also directed media strategy for three successful U.S. Congressional election campaigns and coordinated all events and appearances of a U.S. Congressman for over six years.

Directed the production of dozens of award-winning print/audio/video Products. Made many presentations in public forums. Produced, hosted, and aired cable television shows. Wrote, produced, and anchored hundreds of radio, TV and newspaper news stories and features.

Directed the creation and maintenance of McCarran Airport Internet website Created and directed satellite television network for Federal Aviation Administration
